Main railways, sea ferry links, ports, international and domestic airports are also indicated. Further detail includes provincial boundaries and names, provincial/national parks and a range of symbols denoting beaches, ski resorts, golf courses, hot springs, tombs, temples and other sites of interest. The general relief is indicated by altitude tinting, with some peak heights marked. The island of Jeju-Do is shown in an inset, at 1:275,000. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at 30’ intervals. Nb. There is no detail north of the international border.
On the reverse is a very clear street map at 1:15,000 covering a substantial part Seoul. Colours distinguish parks, industrial areas, institutions and shopping areas, and a range of symbols show various services and landmarks, eg. information centres, hotels, shopping centres, post offices, embassies, places of worship, museums, viewpoints and other places of interest.
