The main roads, railways and also many smaller back roads and logging roads of southwest Alberta and southeast British Columbia, the whole of the area covered by Banff and Jasper. The area covered by each park is filled in with green and stands out clearly against the white background of the map. Rivers are named and there are contours at 2000m intervals. Campsites, guesthouses, skiing areas and other places of tourist interest are marked on the map. On the reverse there are simple street diagrams of Red Deer, Jasper, Banff, Canmore, Edmonton and Calgary. A highway map of western Canada is also included along with a diagram for calculating distances.
