This beautiful 750 piece jigsaw by Stanfords portrays a reproduction of J De Ram’s map of London - “Londini Angliae Regni Metropolis Novissima & Accuratissima”, which dates to around 1690.
This map was originally published to mark the accession of Queen Mary and William of Orange to the English throne, and a portrait of the pair is present on the maps lower right corner. Of particular historical interest are the shops and houses that line the old London Bridge, as well as the detailed legend that identifies the prominent buildings of the time.
When completed the puzzle measures 49x59cm (19.2x23.2 inches).
The box is 30x5x21cm (12x2x8.25 inches).
