Large road map showing much of South-East Asia extending from Singapore in the south to Shanghai in the north, and from Dhaka in the west to Manila in the east.

The base map uses some hill-shading to portray the relief; heights of significant peaks are indicated and many rivers, lakes and highland ranges are named. Communication detail includes major railways, ferry routes and airports, and intermediate driving distances are indicated on main roads. No distinction is made between surfaced and unsurfaced main roads, although some minor routes are classed as tracks. Where main roads meet the edge of the map the distance to next major location is stated. National parks, reserves and international boundaries are marked and coloured symbols highlight selected sites of interest. Latitude & longitude lines are drawn at 2° intervals.

The map is indexed in an attached booklet and also includes street plans of central Kuala Lumpur, Singapore & Bangkok. These are also indexed and show details such as bus & railway stations, information offices, hospitals. post offices, places of worship and other notable buildings.
