Based on one of Stanfords' bestselling maps and measuring a mighty 234x396cm, the Defence Mapping Agency eight-sheet physical map of the World is often seen in home decoration magazines and in the background of some of the world's great film sets.

This eight-sheet version is designed to be easily applied as wallpaper and includes wallpaper paste and instructions.

Land is predominantly green and brown with contours and altitude colouring (different shades representing different heights). The seas are overlaid with selected shipping lanes, and bathymetric tinting shows the general variations in the ocean depths.

The beauty of the sheet design means that depending on where you are in the world, it can be assembled as Americas-, Europe- or Asia-centred; the cartography itself is Mercator projected.
