Argentina ACA Regional Zone 2 - Region Cuyo y Norte

Argentina Zone 2: Region Cuyo and Norte, including Aconcagua in the south-western corner of the map and covering the provinces of San Juan, La Rioja and parts of Catamarca, Chaco, Córdoba, Mendoza, San Luis, Santa Fe, Santiago del Estero and Tucumán, in a series of clear touring maps at 1:1,000,000 from the Automóvil Club Argentino. On the reverse are enlargements of the environs of San Juan and San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, plus street plans of city centres in these two towns and in Santiago del Estero, Termas de Rio Hondo, La Rioja and Chilecito.

Maps in the ACA series show road network, from motorways to unsurfaced country tracks, on a clear base with relief shading and spot heights, plus rivers, lakes, glaciers, etc, to show the topography. Intermediate driving distances are indicated and the maps also show ACA service and petrol stations, as well as motels and campsites approved by the Club. Railway lines, provincial and departmental divisions and boundaries of national parks and protected zones are shown and symbols mark various places of interest, historical sites, etc. Each map is indexed and has latitude and longitude lines drawn at 1º intervals. On the reverse each title has street plans of main towns and enlargements for popular tourist areas. All the text, including the map legend, is in Spanish only.
