Argentina ACA Regional Zone 7 - Patagonia North

Argentina Zone 7: Northern Patagonia (provinces of La Pampa, Neuquén and Río Negro) in a series of clear touring maps at 1:1,000,000 from the Automóvil Club Argentino, with street plans of local towns and enlargements for popular areas. Coverage starts just north of Santa Rosa and extends southwards to El Bolsón in the Andes. A separate panel on the reverse extends coverage westwards to show at 1:1,500,000 Chile between Pucón, Puerto Montt and Castro on Chiloé Island,

An enlargement presents in more detail one of the country’s most visited regions around San Carlos de Bariloche with the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Street plans indicate main facilities and/or important offices in San Carlos de Bariloche, San Martín de los Andes, Neuquén, Santa Rosa and Viedma. The map also includes extensive text with descriptions of main sights.

Maps in the ACA series show road network, from motorways to unsurfaced country tracks, on a clear base with relief shading and spot heights, plus rivers, lakes, glaciers, etc, to show the topography. Intermediate driving distances are indicated and the maps also show ACA service and petrol stations, as well as motels and campsites approved by the Club. Railway lines, provincial and departmental divisions and boundaries of national parks and protected zones are shown and symbols mark various places of interest, historical sites, etc. Each map is indexed and has latitude and longitude lines drawn at 1º intervals. On the reverse each title has street plans of main towns and enlargements for popular tourist areas. All the text, including the map legend, is in Spanish only.
