Argentina ACA Regional Zone 8 - Patagonia Central

Argentina Zone 8: Central Patagonia, covering the province of Chubut and the northern part of Santa Cruz, in a series of clear touring maps at 1:1,000,000 from the Automóvil Club Argentino. On the reverse are street plans of Rawson, Trelew, Caleta Olivia, Puerto Deseado, Comodoro Rivadavia, Esquel and Puerto Madryn; plus enlargements of the parks and reserves in the mountains between Trevelin and El Bolson and of the Peninsula Valdes with its neighbouring area.

Maps in the ACA series show road network, from motorways to unsurfaced country tracks, on a clear base with relief shading and spot heights, plus rivers, lakes, glaciers, etc, to show the topography. Intermediate driving distances are indicated and the maps also show ACA service and petrol stations, as well as motels and campsites approved by the Club. Railway lines, provincial and departmental divisions and boundaries of national parks and protected zones are shown and symbols mark various places of interest, historical sites, etc. Each map is indexed and has latitude and longitude lines drawn at 1º intervals. On the reverse each title has street plans of main towns and enlargements for popular tourist areas. All the text, including the map legend, is in Spanish only.
