Australia UBD Gregory's Touring Atlas A3

Touring Atlas of Australia in an A3 paperback format, one of versions from UBD Gregory''s series of road atlases of the country. Arranged by state, scales of the road mapping vary according to the size of the state and each state is accompanied by a main roads street plan and an environs road map of its capital city. Mapping in this 27th edition of the atlas includes a wider range of icons indicating facilities such as rest areas with/without accommodation, fuel supplies, etc. Additional features provide: city-to-city highway diagrams with brief descriptions of main towns; a comprehensive distance table; plus a fuel consumption chart. Road atlases of Australia from the now combined cartographic houses of UBD and Gregory’s present the country in a variety of sizes and formats and with different additional features providing extra information. The maps are arranged by state; scales vary according to the size of the state. Road network is shown on a base with no relief shading but with spot heights for main peaks. National parks and other protected areas as well as Aboriginal Lands are highlighted in different colours. Driving distances are given on main and many local routes.
