Events this summer at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG)

This summer, come along to the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) and find out about, Slavery in the 21st century, Antarctica’s ice shelves, the making of Planet Earth II and much, much more.

The Society’s full programme of events for the summer season is now available to view online. Members of the Society receive discounted entry to public events and membership is open to all. Find out how you can become a member.

Highlights in the season include Monday night lectures for members from Professors David Vaughan and Adrian Luckmann on changes in Antarctica’s Larsen Ice Shelf,  to Kevin Bales looking at Slavery in the 21st century.

In July join key members of the BBC team behind the landmark series Planet Earth II as they take you behind-the-scenes to discover worlds of surprising opportunity.
