It’s so interesting to see how it is evolving as an art and how different people interpret maps differently. The Art of Cartographics is a collection of maps that showcases the most creative and interesting design projects from around the world. Bicentennial Geological Map of Britain
Issued in 2015 it depicts modern geological bedrock data in the style of Smith’s early-nineteenth-century cartography.
Wired World
Created as a donation for the Boise Weekly, a newspaper in Idaho. It is composed of over 1,000 steel nails and roughly 150 feet of aluminium wire on a backdrop of oak.
