…cycling around the Isle of Wight.

‘The Island’ as it is known to locals is only 70 miles around and its diamond shape is really easy to navigate around.

The Floating Bridge is actually a boat that crosses the gap between East Cowes and Cowes. The walls are filled with poetry and art.
The Floating Bridge takes a few minutes and costs 40p.
Stop for a break and take the cable car to see The Needles.
The beach at Freshwater is a great place to swim.
The wide open roads are relatively free from traffic.
Dinosaur fans will be in their element. The island is home to lots of fossils.
Sandown Beach in the morning.
Bembridge Windmill is open to the public and is a great spot for a picnic.

The Wightlink ferry back to and from the mainland is exceptionally bike friendly.
