Coral Reef Guide - Red Sea

Richly illustrated with colour photographs and drawings, this guide covers most of the marine species likely to be encountered while diving or snorkelling in the Red Sea & Gulf of Aden. Fish, reptiles, mammals, invertebrates and plants are covered and indexed by both common and scientific names. Introductory sections deal with geological, oceanographical, ecological and conservation aspects of the reef environment, also hazards presented by marine life. Sixteen of the best dive sites are briefly described and indicated on a map of the region.
