Towns and villages that are associated with the greatest highlights of the Ukrainian Cossackdom - Kozakdom period are marked. These include places of battles, fortresses, ZaporizhianSich places, hetmana's residences, regimental and sotnia towns. The inset map presents a historical map of that period.
