Etosha Nationa Park: Map with an Illustrated Animal and Bird Identification Guide

Colourful and informative guide to Etosha National Park presented as a14-page, A4 booklet with maps and numerous colour drawings of local birds and animals, plus general tourist information about opening times, etc.

Four pages are taken up by a map of the park, covering both its eastern part around the Etosha Pan and the western half opened only to registered tour operators. Local tracks are shown with driving distances and symbols indicate entry gates, lookout points and waterholes or natural springs, as well as tourist accommodation, picnic sites and toilets. A smaller map shows 21 different vegetation zones in the park.

Five pages of beautiful colour drawings show various birds found in the park, with two more pages of animals big and small, from an elephant to a dwarf mongoose and a squirrel. Also provided are details of opening times of facilities within the park and general information about the area.

All the text, including names of birds and animals, is in English and German.
