Florence Red Maps

Central Florence on a tourist street plan from Red Maps presented in a handy concertina format and printed on thick high quality paper, with thematic indexes for sights including museums and churches, hotels, shopping, etc.

The plan presents central Florence at 1:7,900 approx, extending from the city’s historic heart north to the Archaeological Museum and south across the Arno to the Pitti Palace. Main buildings, colour-coded into different types (museums, churches, palaces, hotels, etc), are named and main shopping streets and traffic routes across the city are highlighted.

On the reverse are thematic lists of sights and important buildings, hotels, etc. A special panel provides street-by-street recommendation of (mainly fashion) shops. An index lists neighbourhoods, squares and a selection of major streets.

Also provided is a basic road map of central Tuscany and the adjoining part of Umbria showing road access to Pisa, Lucca,, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, etc.
