Gola della Rossa and di Frasassi Regional Natural Park 10

Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Natural Park on a double-sided map published by Selca in cooperation with Club Alpino Italiano, combining coverage of the park itself at 1:25,000 with mapping of a wider area around it at 1:50,000.

On one side it the park itself shown at 1:25,000 on mapping with contours at 25m intervals enhanced by bold relief shading. The map highlights numerous hiking paths, showing their waymarking numbers and indicating difficult passages. Also shows are recommended mountain bike route and bridleways for horse riding. Icons indicate locations for other recreational pursuits: climbing, caving, paragliding, canoeing on local rivers, etc. The map has no geographical coordinate.

On the reverse is a 1:50,000 map of the Esino-Frassari Mountain Community, covering the region surrounding the park, also with waymarked routes. The map is a reduction of cartography prepared at a larger scale, so all place names are in very small print and contour lines are difficult to see.

Also provided are lists of recommended routes with distances are timings.
