Ignis, Pietrii and Gutai Mountains

Ignis, Pietrii and Gutai Mountains in northern Transylvania at 1:50,000 in a series of detailed contoured maps covering popular hiking areas of Transylvania published by Dimap, one of Hungary’s leading publishers specializing in mapping of that region.



The map has contours at 100m intervals enhanced by relief shading. Several trails are marked, with symbols distinguishing between well and poorly signposted sections. Forested areas and nature reserves are marked and symbols show local caves and springs, accommodation (hotels, campsites and refuges), various places of interest including churches and monasteries, etc. The map has a latitude and longitude grid at 2’ intervals.



On the reverse are black and white street plans of Baia Mare and Sighetu Marmatiei, plus notes describing the region and 34 hiking paths identified on the map. Map legend and all the notes include English.
