The John Muir Way is a coast-to-coast route across Scotland from Helensburgh on the Clyde to Dunbar on the Forth, launched in April 2014. This map (scale 1:75,000) is designed for cyclists and walkers and has been created in partnership with Scottish Natural Heritage. It complements the Rucksack Readers guidebook with the same title.
The John Muir Way, a 215km / 134 mile long trail from Helensburgh on the Firth of Clyde across Edinburgh to Dunbar on the North Sea - John Muir’s birthplace, produced by the Scottish Natural Heritage in a waterproof and tear-resistant map at 1:75,000 which presents the route on four overlapping panels. Cartography of the map provides more detail in the build-up areas.
