Lander and May Ltd is an artisan globe making company based in Cowes, Isle of Wight.

Chris Adams, founder, has been a globe master craftsman for 20 years, using traditional techniques and authentic materials. 

Globe making of this calibre is now an endangered craft that features on the Heritage Red List. Each piece is made by hand, from a range of contemporary and historical map designs that illustrate the world as it was, as well as the world today.

Lander and May holds an extensive digital map archive, which is constantly updated to include border changes and name revisions, making our contemporary globes some of the most detailed available.

Globes need to inform and inspire. Aesthetics and data can co-exist without compromise.
