Map of London - on Canvas

Central London by Wellington’s Travel, at approximately 1:3,300 this contemporary map is printed on canvas in a vintage 1800s style.

It extends from Kensington Palace Gardens in the west to Tower of London in the east and from King’s Cross in the north to Lambeth Bridge in the south.

Beautifully drawn by cartographer and artist A. Butler, this map shows the main streets and places of interests of Central London, public houses, parks and renowned buildings are represented with remarkable detail. Also, local markets, underground stations and minor streets are located but not named.

True to the antique style, on the side of the map there is a concise, hand written guide to Markets and Shops, Royal and Government Buildings, Public Houses, Taverns and Inns, Parks and Churches.

It may not have enough mapping details but this map is more of an artwork, with wonderful tiny drawings of red buses, horse carriages, cyclists and walkers. It will provide a sense of wonder to both kids and adults.

The map comes in a faux leather tube.
