Mexico Road Map

Mexico at 1:3,350,000 approx. on a road map from Ediciones Independencia, with on the reverse enlargements of the country’s 18 most visited areas, plus a map of Yucatan with Guatemala and Belize highlighting Maya sites. On one side is a map of the country at 1:3,350,000 approx showing individual states in bright colours. The presentation of the road network indicates paved, gravel and dirt roads. The map has a large number of smaller tows or villages but many locations are shown without any roads leading to them. The map is accompanied by a distance table and an enlargement of the country’s central regions around Mexico City. The main value of this title lies in the enlargements shown on its reverse side. 18 of the country’s most visited area (“tourist zones”) are shown in much greater detail on a plain white base with colouring indicating national parks and other protected areas. Icons indicate various recreational facilities and places of interest. Also provided is an overview map of Yucatan with Guatemala, Belize and north-western Honduras highlighting locations of numerous Maya remains, including many sites often not marked on other maps. Map legends for both sides of this title include English.
