The map plan extends just beyond the city’s outer ring road. Names of most streets, districts and neighbourhoods, parks, metro and railway stations, etc., are shown in both Cyrillic and Roman alphabets. Selected street numbers are shown for easy identification of addresses. The plan highlights hotels, historical buildings and monuments, museums, embassies, etc., cross-referenced to lists in an index booklet attached to the map cover.



An enlargement shows the city centre in greater detail at 1:25,000, covering an area just beyond the inner ring to include the city’s main railway stations. A separate booklet attached to the map cover contain street index with dual names, plus lists of hotels, places of interest, cultural institutions, etc. On the back cover is a diagram of the metro network.



Map legend includes English. Names of institution listed in the booklet are given with their English equivalents. Also included is a transliteration table.
