Naples TCI Street Plan

Naples in a series of street plans from Touring Club Italiano, plus a road map of the environs and small insets for Capri and Ischia, also with street plans. Clear, elegant cartography and subtle colouring make TCI plans particularly easy to read.

The plan covers the city at 1:10,000 and extends west to the Bagnoli district and Terme di Agnano and east to cover most of the city’s docks. Coverage inland extends north to include the university campus around the main hospitals, Parco di Capodimonte and the outskirts of the airport. Main traffic arteries across the city are highlighted. Metro stations are clearly marked. Churches and other important historic or municipal buildings are prominently coloured and named. Unusually for street plans, outside the main built-up areas the map has contour lines at 20m intervals, highlighting the topography of the hills surrounding the city.
Map legend includes English. Street index in on the reverse of the map and has a list of useful addresses.

Also provided is a road map of the environs at 1:125,000 including both Vesuvius and the archaeological site at Pompeii. Ischia at 1:85,000 and Capri at 1:60,000 are presented with contours and graphic relief to show the topography and have small plans of their main towns.

PLEASE NOTE: there is no separate enlargement for the city centre, so in the more densely built-up areas with narrow streets, street names are in very small print.
