Netherlands South ANWB Road Map

Southern Netherlands on an indexed road map at 1:200,000 published by ANWB, the country’s main automobile and tourist association, in cooperation with the Dutch Tourist Board. Within Friesland place names are in both Dutch and West Friesian. On the reverse are street plans of Rotterdam, Arnhem, Breda, Delft, Dordrecht, Eindhoven, Heerlen, Helmond, ''S-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch), Maastricht, Middelburg, Nijmegen, Roermond, Tilburg, Venlo, and Vlissingen indicating parking facilities, information offices, museums, sport and recreational facilities, etc. In larger cities only the central area is covered.

Clearly presented road information includes motorway junction names, motorway services, roads closed to motor traffic, intermediate distances, scenic routes, etc. Where main roads meet the map edge the name of the next major town on the route is stated. Railways with stations and ferries are marked, also barrages and locks on waterways. Symbols mark various landmarks and places of interest, e.g. churches, ruins, windmills, nature parks, museums, etc. The map has no geographical co-ordinates. The index is on the reverse. Map legend includes English.
