Portland and Willamette Valley, OR

Portland and Willamette Valley in Oregon on a road map at approx. 1:385,000 approx from the Great Pacific Recreation & Travel Maps, indexed for sights and attractions and with enlargements and several street plans. On one side is a road map centered on Portland, including the adjoining area of Washington State around Vancouver WA, with an inset extending coverage along the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area to The Dalles and southwards to show the road loop around the Mt Hood National Forest. An enlargement provides more detailed mapping of the Portland conurbation and street plans show downtown Portland, Hood River, McMinnville, Vancouver WA, Oregon City and Forest Grove. On the reverse coverage of the main map is extended from Salem to Eugene and further south to Cottage Grove. Enlargements and/or street plans cover Salem – Keizer, Eugene – Springfield, Corvallis and Albany. Also provided is a basic road map of the wine growing area west of the Highway 5 highlighting locations of numerous farms, wineries, bars, etc. The main road maps shown local roads, including 4WD tracks and trails, scenic routes, railways, and indicate various recreational facilities such as campgrounds, picnic areas, golf courses, historic sites, etc. The maps have latitude and longitude lines at intervals of 10’. Very extensive index is divided into lists of communities, parks/recreational areas, national/state forests and other protected areas, golf courses, breweries/wineries, etc. Street plans are also annotated with services and places of interest, including locations of petrol stations.
