A touring map of the French Alps from the southern Jura and Lake Geneva to Nice, Grand Canyon du Verdon and the Luberon Regional Park, highlighting the Route des Grandes Alpes, the main road and its variants connecting Thonon-les-Bains to Menton.

Vivid hill shading represents the general relief, peak heights are marked, and mountain passes are shown with their altitudes. Road information includes motorway rest and service areas, tolls gates, and restricted access routes. Local rail network is also shown. Symbols mark locations of various landmarks and places of interest, e.g. castles, churches, antiquities, viewpoints, winter sport resorts and spas, etc.

The map has a vertical profile whole route showing the altitudes of various passes.
Also included are telephone numbers for information on road conditions, as some of the passes often remain closed until mid-June. Map legend and the text include English.
