Somiedo Natural Park, a popular hiking area of the Cordillera Cantabrica lying between the two Camino de Santiago routes across northern Spain, presented on a hiking map at 1:60,000 from Adrados Ediciones, with an enlargement at 1:30,000 for its central part.

The main map at 1:60,000 is centred approximately on Pola de Somiedo and covers the whole of the park, extending south to the route joining Villablino, Cabrillanes and San Emiliano. The map has contours at 40m intervals with altitude colouring and relief sharing. Numerous peaks and other topographical features are named. Hiking routes are highlighted and symbols mark campsites, mountain refuges, viewpoints, climbing areas and locations of petrol stations. On the reverse the central part of the park is shown at 1:30,000 with the excellent cartography used in the publishers’ coverage of the Picos de Europa. Contours are at 10, intervals with additional graphic relief for exposed rocky faces. Both maps have a UTM grid.

Also included are a geological/geomorphologic and a vegetation map of the park area and extensive notes on its geology, climate, fauna and flora, etc. Map legend and all the text are in Spanish only.
