United States NGS Decorator LARGE Wall Map LAMINATED

United States NGS Decorator Style Wall Map in the large 175x117cm (69”x46” size - encapsulated version, with the states presented in strong but muted colours against light blue oceans and the Great Lakes.

NGS Decorator maps of USA show the administrative division of the country, with states in different colours. Town symbols indicate state capitals. Road network gives numbers of interstate highways and main state roads. The background base map has relief shading to show principal mountain ranges, with additional graphics for deserts, swamps, etc. Rivers, shown in white, are clear to see and many are named. Also provided are names of numerous other geographical features. Peak heights are given in feet. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at intervals of 3°.

LAMINATED and ENCAPSULATED WALL MAPS:
- LAMINATED wall maps have a thin layer of plastic usually applied to the printed side only. They can be written on with suitable marker pens without any damage to the map but, unless laminated on both sides, they are not damp-proof.

- ENCAPSULATED wall maps are sealed between two sheets of plastic. They are more rigid and heavier than laminated maps of the same size. They are damp-proof and do not crinkle in humid conditions. Encapsulation gives the map a shiny surface, similar to being displayed behind glass.
