Etymological Wall Map of the World, called by its publishers Kalimedia - the Atlas of True Names (size 100 x 70cm / 39.5" x 27.5" approx). Presented on pleasant beige background, the map shows political boundaries but with the familiar names replaced by their etymological equivalents.

All names on the map: countries, cities, mountains, deserts, oceans and other geographical features are shown using their etymological derivation, producing unusual and often intriguing results, from Land of the Water and its capital Yellow Flower to The Islands of the Flowland, the Stone Belt or the Gulf of the Pure Ones.

The index surrounding the map lists all the names as they are shown on it, indicating their official equivalents and explaining how the “True Name” has been derived. Also provided is a panel showing the planets. The map is printed on waterproof and tear-resistant plastic paper and can be written on with suitable marker pens.
