The Ypres Salient and Passchendaele map at 1:45,000 in from T V Holt Associates, showing present-day road network overprinted with WWI-related information: six front lines from different stages of the conflict, memorial sites including cemeteries, monuments and plaques, bunkers, demarcation stones, etc, all cross-referenced to extensive lists on the reverse side. Centred on Ypres (Ieper, “Wipers”), the map extends east to Passchendaele (Passendale) and Zonnebeke, south to Messines (Messen) and Ploegsteert, and west to Poperinge. On the reverse is an index to the information shown by the overprint, including list of war cemeteries, winners of the Victoria Cross buried or commemorated on the Salient, etc. The markers on the map and their corresponding lists are colour-coded for easier reference. Also provided is a list of 15 key locations around Ypres with their GPS coordinates. Current 9th edition of this title was updated in 2011.
