Custom maps are built around the area you choose. Search for a place, adjust the coverage and order the print that suits you best.

Can I centre the map on my own location?

You can! Start with the most suitable custom map product, then search for your place (for example, using the postcode) and adjust the crop before placing your order.

Which map should I choose for walking?

Topographic maps show landscape detail and contour lines - perfect for walking. If you are looking for Ordnance Survey mapping, use UK Topographic

Which map is best for planning or local proposals?

For planning permission maps, please get in touch with our cartographer via [email protected]. Our Stanfords for Business Team are also on hand to help and can provide CAD MasterMap data and same day planning map turnaround.

Can I return a custom map?

Unfortunately not. Due to the custom nature of these products they are non-refundable, so please double check that you are happy with your map before purchasing. Our team is available to help via [email protected] or 020 7836 1321 if you have any questions.

What materials are available?

We currently only offer custom maps printed on paper via our website, but if you are interested in encapsulation or wallpaper printing this can be arranged at an extra cost. Please email [email protected] for further information.

Do you offer framing?

Unfortunately not. Due to the risk of damage in transit we recommend taking your map to a framer local to you. Many of our custom maps are also available in standard 'A' sizes, for which frames are readily available.
