This distinctive compass paperweight features a bold glass dome which serves to magnify the compass card inside, and an antique effect brass case engraved with the phrase ‘A Journey of a Thousand Miles Must Begin with a Single Step’.

The original compass used by Clark is on display at the Smithsonian and is handsomely reproduced here. Made from glass and lightly distressed rosewood with a beautiful rustic bronze trim.
