1:500,000 • CNIG Spain Sectional Map

CNIG’s 1:500,000 Map of Spain series provides clear, authoritative mapping for broad regional coverage across Spain. Produced by Spain’s Instituto Geográfico Nacional (IGN), the series divides the country into 15 sectional sheets, covering the mainland, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.

At this scale, the maps are well suited to general route planning and gaining an overview of large areas, while retaining considerably more geographical detail than a single-sheet national map. The series is derived from IGN’s national 1:500,000 cartographic database and provides consistent official mapping across the whole of Spain.
